About the Complex Project Management Profession

The Complex Project Management Profession builds the capability and capacity of the APS workforce while evaluating and navigating the various dimensions of project complexity.

The profession will establish a whole of APS employment life cycle approach to attract, develop, retain and deploy a workforce who have skills in complex project management. These skills will help the APS better plan and execute clear project strategies through the management of cost, schedule, and scope, ultimately reducing risk and driving greater value for money, while considering the evolving elements of complexity.

The Complex Project Management Profession will equip you with the skills you need to navigate complex projects that deliver meaningful impact. This profession is for people leading or working on complex or large-scale projects across the APS. It is also for you if you want to strengthen your skills in this area.
