[upbeat music] >> CHRIS: Government takes on some very serious and complex, ambiguous problems. They span delivering on major systems for organisations like Defence, to delivering major infrastructure programmes, to the introduction of major systems to support the business of government, to delivering complex policy arrangements, and complex project management must span all of that. >> LIZ: International dynamics are changing. Community and stakeholder expectations are changing, transparency requirements, ethical requirements, social sustainability, and we need to ensure that the professionals in the Australian Public Service are able to keep up with this complexity and ambiguity. >> CHRIS: We need to be thinking about all of these things, and professionalising our people to be confident in the way in which they go about delivering complex projects. >> LIZ: We've established this profession on behalf of the Australian Public Service to really uplift the capability of the entire public service to operate in what is an incredibly dynamic environment. >> CHRIS: Come join the Complex Project Management Profession. Learn about what it takes. I encourage you all to be part of the journey. >> LIZ: I'm really looking forward to see what we can do to uplift the capability of the Australian Public Service in complex project management to serve the Australian community now and into the future.
